I'm doing my third year in B.tech(Industrial biotechnology)...I have
a few doubts regarding GATE...

I had planned to prepare for Chemistry,Biochem and Biotech...But
looking up the prev topics,I understand Microbio is easier and less
vast than Biotech....My doubt is,can I attempt a few questions from
Microbio and few from biotech in the exam??...If not,can I change my
optional(from biotech to microbio or viceversa) during the exam after
seeing the questions??

What topics do I have to cover in Chemistry,Biochem,Biotech and
Microbio to get thro comfortably in the exam???

Is it necessary for me to join a corres course?? or can i manage with
the books I have and from online,coll library??

what courses can I apply for with the above 2 combos and in which
institutions??....can I get the info brochures from the institutions
now??
