    Suppose the forcing function impressed to a network is of the the form 
f(t) = sint+5 
then the transients must have died out long time back. In that case if we wish to find the total response after time t=0 then there would be no transient terms in the expression. 
My question is will the expression consist of transient terms(negative powers) for t<0. I believe the answer is no. 
what are yours??
