 when do we call a system minimum phase system


----is it when the zeros of the system in inside the unit circle, or
----when both the poles and zeros and poles are inside the unit circle.

in order to satisfy stability and causality which is desirable property of minimum phase systems <poles should lie within the unit circle >zeroes may lie anywhere but for a minimum phase it is essential they should also lie within the unit circle.in s domain poles and zeroes should lie on the Lhs itself
