(a) using -ve feedback
(b) controlling the gain
(c) incorpotating a tined ckt
(d) none of these .I think ans is a) .But in a solution answer given is b).Please,Let me know correct answer.

yes..  it is right.

The main critireon behind using a feed back in oscillators is to control gain.
Because for the oscillations to occur, we should make sure that the gain and B.W product is unity or less and the total phase shift in the loop should be 180 Degrees.
