Two courses are being offered

Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)
Internet Science and Engineering (ISE)

Admission procedure: Direct admission only based on
your GATE score.

Cutoff: (2004) it was 99.92% (general) for both CSE
and ISE.


MSc

If you are really interested in researching at a
particular area choose this.

Admission procedure: based on your GATE score and
interview that will be held at IISc

Cutoff: (2004) it was 99%

M.Tech (Computatinal Science) :

Admission Procedure: based on your GATE score, written
test and interview that will be held at IISc

Cutoff: (2004) it was 99%

Test: same as GATE and much more difficult
(mathematical)

Interview: on general subjects

MSc:

Admission Procedure: based on your GATE score, written
test and interview that will be held at IISc

Cutoff: 2004 it was 98%

Test: same as GATE and difficulty level is average

Campus interviews wise no difference for both M.Tech
and MSc.
