1. Correspondence Course :
Our study material is in the form of booklets and test papers covering the entire spectrum of GATE syllabus, and we despatch them in six mailings.
Unit wise approach : All the subjects to be covered are divided in eight units, and two units of all the subjects are despatched per mailing. This approach helps the students master all the subjects at a time.
Easy to read booklets : Maximum relevant information which is made concise and easy to read, is represented in a synoptic format in every booklet for each unit. These booklets serve as a ready to use tool for quick revision as well as a guide for test solving.
Highly classified solved examples : Synopsis in each unit is followed by solved examples based on the syllabus covered in that particular unit. They consist of previous year’s GATE question papers which give an idea of what kind of questions can be asked from the particular unit.
Well researched practice exercise : Exercise of MCQs to be solved by students is provided with every unit, which paints a clear picture in front of students of how much they have understood from that unit.
Short tests : Every mailing consists of one short test of 40 marks and 45 minutes time duration per subject. Students should administer these tests at home in the specified time duration and submit to us for evaluation and feedback.
Unit tests : Two Unit tests are conducted ‘Live’ at the test centers, which will be of 150 marks and 3 hours time duration. They are provided, focusing on half portion of the entire GATE syllabus at a time.
Revision tests : Based on the evaluation of answer sheets of short tests and unit tests, a special test is generated for each subject, called as Revision test, which is of 75 marks and 1 ˝ hour time duration. The student should administer these tests at home and evaluate their own performance.
Model Tests : There are five Model Tests on precise GATE pattern, which will be conducted ‘Live’ at the test centers. The questions asked in the model tests are contemporary, reflecting the latest trend in the examinations.
Test Score Feedback : Computerised feedback with negative marking of all the tests in various report formats is an integral part of this course. This not only provides the performance status from time to time but also makes sure that the students get to know where they went wrong.
Interactive Web Support : We have interactivity with all our students through 'Student's Zone' of www.vidyasagar.com, features of which include;
Difficulty Corner

Message Board.
Live Tests : During the entire course, unit tests and model tests are kept ‘Live’ at our following test centers across India. The basic purpose of this optional facility is to simulate the examination environment.
