Can anyone clear my doubt in carnot cycle.

I studied carnot cycle concept from “thermal engineering” by ‘kothandaraman’ book. It was written that total workdone=sum of heat transfer with surroundings by isothermal process. But how it can be?

Total workdone = heat supplied - heat rejected right!

When I derive in this way I am not getting the desired answer.

Could anyone explain to me.

My mailId are [email protected], [email protected] . Anyone is willing to chat regarding this and others also this weekend. If so send me a mail or scrap in it.
