One Stop GATE Forum: Need info for selection criteria in GATE

   Hello Everyone, 
I need details for selection process in GATE. I am a EE engineer and want to pursue my M.Tech in Computer Science, as I have worked in that field. But, if I write my exame in EE and get same score as that of Comp. Sc. student, then who will be given the preference.

	You need to be in top 10 ranks in EE to change stream from EE to CS. Otherwise, you may get into some interdisciplinary streams like Information Science with a not-that-great rank.
