  • The examination is a single paper of three hours duration and of 150 marks of fully objective type.
  • The objective (eg., multiple choice type) part of the question paper carries ‘negative’ marking. For each wrong answer the deduction will be 25% marks allotted
  • The choice of the paper is the responsibility of the candidate. Candidates are expected to appear in the paper appropriate to the discipline of their qualifying degree. However, the candidate is free to choose any paper according to his/her admission plan.
  • Students have to opt for their subject and study as per the syllabus mentioned in the GATE brochure
  • The subjects of our interest are Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Instrumentation Engineering. Other subjects are also available such as Mathematics, Physics, etc
